Buses from the 60 line runing a strike

The problem

Bus strikes in Buenos Aires frequently disrupt daily commutes for thousands of people.

Information is often scattered across news portals and social media, where updates are delayed or inconsistent.

Without a centralized and reliable source, commuters struggle to make informed decisions in real time.

My proposal

I built a dedicated platform that provides real-time updates on bus strike statuses in Buenos Aires, helping commuters stay informed and quickly find alternative routes.

For Ciudad de Bondis, the platform centralized all strike-related information in one place, significantly reducing repetitive inquiries about specific lines and disruptions.

Main status with alerts.Lines with the current status and details.

Key features

Real-time updates

Access the latest bus strike information as events unfold.

Alternative routes

Explore other transportation options during service disruptions.

User-friendly interface

Quickly find the information you need with a clear and intuitive UI.

Report from a day, confirming which ones are running a strike and which ones are working normally.

The challenges

Ensuring information accuracy and timeliness was a key challenge. To solve this, the platform aggregates data from multiple trusted sources and validates it before publishing.

Another challenge was designing an interface accessible to a broad audience. User testing and iterative feedback helped refine the UX and improve overall usability.
